Both on our STANDARD and SPECIAL products we can apply a variety of surface treatments in order to make the final product more reliable, more resistant, more longevous and, at the same time, more elegant and more pleasing to the eye.
Pickling
Operation performed to eliminate by hydrochloric acid solutions the impurities resulting from oxidation processes and manufacturing.
The oxidations formed on the steel surface are due to the heat treatment and to the welding, in our case
Glazing
Surface processing carried out with brushes composed exclusively of metal wires rotating, immersed in oil and emery which allows the finishing of surfaces in light alloy.
Shot Blasting
Process that using compressed air or centrifugal force throws the particles referred to as “grit” against a surface, generating a surface treatment of:
- Clean-up
- Roughening
- Hardening (shot peening)
The shot-blasting peculiarity is the fact of making the tank completely scratch resistant.
Electro-polishing
Galvanic process which consists of a continuous passage of electricity in a mixture of acids in order to achieve an appropriate levelling of the roughness peaks.
Through the electrochemical treatment is possible to obtain surfaces with the following characteristics:
- Surfaces free from tensions
- Surfaces without microinclusions
- Chemically passive surfaces
- Surfaces without microscopic burrs
- Easy to clean
- Surfaces with low friction
- Reflective surfaces and aesthetically pleasing
Each treatments has to be requested at ordering time, in order to facilitate the various stages of processing.
